Personal Versions of VIUC run on laptops with the following recommended configuration:

. 500 Gigabytes of hard drive

The 3-D version requires:

The campus or networked version requires a Network Server, running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or later.
It runs over a Category 6 Local Area Network (LAN) structured cable infrastructure.
Up to 25 classrooms can link to the Server.
